“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet….” (William Shakespeare-Romeo & Juliet) but Books…they are different.

Some of my favorites are about as different as one could imagine: The Little Prince (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry), Manchild in the Promised Land (Claude Brown) and Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkien)…to name just three.

And then I saw the movie “Genius” about the relationship between writer Thomas Wolfe and his editor, Maxwell Perkins. Fabulous. Now I want to read O, Lost, just based on the first few lines: “…a stone, a leaf, an unfound door; of a stone, a leaf, a door.  And of all the forgotten faces.” (O, Lost – Thomas Wolfe)
